Activities include pond dipping, bug hunting, environmental games, trails, quizzes, environmental art, habitat comparison

What is the age range of the activities?

4-16 but we are flexible

Sample programme of the activities:

50 minutes pond dipping, 20 minute break, 50 minutes bug hunting, 30 minute lunch break, 1 hour environmental games and habitat comparison walk

What materials to you provide or suggest groups bring to support the visit?

We provide all materials and suggest the group bring clothes suitable for working outside

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

There is no minimum group size, maximum is 30.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

We have risk assessments and can help with yours

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

We are happy to have a pre-visit with you

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

the Peacock Tearooms which provide special group offers for lunch or ice creams. We have a classroom or quite outside area for meals.
