All Year Round
Trewern is a residential facility situated in spacious grounds in the beautiful countryside on the Herefordshire/Welsh border, near the small market town of Hay-on-Wye.
Trewern is staffed by qualified teachers with specialist knowledge and a wealth of experience teaching outdoor education and field studies.
All programmes are prepared in consultation with visiting groups and are individually tailored to meet schools' needs.
Courses at Trewern have been proven to advance academic, personal and social skills; students develop life skills with an emphasis on achievement and enjoyment. Working in teams students are presented with challenges, the application of which is not easily demonstrated in the classroom.
