Tudor Life KS2: making pottage, making marchpane, grinding pounce, trying on costume, dancing, eating a proper Tudor lunch, playing shovegroat, having a go at making inventories.

Arrive, meet the family, divide into 3 groups (we can take a maximum of 35 pupils at a time) do activities in different rooms, have lunch, do more activities, plenary involving dance, song and Elizabethan insults that pupils have prepared beforehand.

maximum 35 children, minimum 10. All accompanying adults free but there must be a ratio of 1:8 adults:children minimum or we cannot run the workshop.
