What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

Skirmish paintball is a great way to nuture and develop many important life skills in an environment that young people will respond to. Ideal for school excursions and activity days, Skirmish paintball have developed a range of game scenarios which provide a naturally exciting and mentally stimulating environment.

A day of paintball provides young people with a physical and mental workout that will have them running around breathing in fresh air while making them think on their feet. Under the supervision of highly trained marshals, Skirmish paintball is designed to assist in the development of leadership, team work, self confidence and problem solving.

We also now run airsoft and laser tag at 3 of our venues - please ring for details.

What are the Curriculum Topics or Benefit to the students from a visit?

Skirmish Paintball Games have more than 25 years experience in running paintball games. We offer the best and most professional paintballing experience in the UK and as accredited members of the United Kingdom Paintball Sports Federation, ensure the highest standards of entertainment and safety.

Everybody loves an action hero, be it for real or just in the movies. It’s a tough old world out there, and whatever the scenario, there will always be losers as well as winners. The important thing is to play an active part.

Paintballing gives you the chance to do just that – be part of a team that has a job to do, a mission to complete, players to protect, comrades to rescue. Be a soldier, a marksman, a quick-thinker, a strategist, a team-player, and a survivor but, above all, take part and get involved in one of the most demanding and most fun activities that you will ever experience.

In effect have a go at being your own real life action hero!

Airsoft - minimum age 12 (limited places)
Laser Tag - minimum age 8 years (limited places)

What is the age range of the activities?

Paintball - 11 years (anyone under 16 must have completed consent form)
Airsoft - 12 years

What materials to you provide or suggest groups bring to support the visit?

Suitable clothing - please bring loose fitting trousers, t-shirt, sweater/hoodie (thin layers), overalls are supplied. Suitable outdoor recreational activity footwear; preferably with ankle support. Thin gloves are also advisable but armoured gloves are available for purchase on game day

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Minimum guaranteed revenue - depending on which venue. Plus for every 20 paying players for one free place

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

Yes - copy on request

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Yes - on request

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

Light refreshments can be bought on game day i.e. bottled water, cans of pop, chocolate bars, bags of crisps. A light can be included for additional £2.50 per person - by prior arrangement

Is specific clothing required?

Skirmish Paintball Games only provide equipment specially produced and approved for paintball.
