Climbing is an inspirational activity which can encourage teamwork, build trust and develop social skills. Whether they’re fit or fragile, tall or short, fearless, or totally convinced they can’t get off the ground, everyone will leave feeling they’ve pushed themselves to achieve something new.
We can offer structured sessions taking children through safety and ropework skills, or a just a taster session including games designed with fun in mind.
Redpoint is also the primary centre for the delivery of the NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme). Adaptable to the needs of complete novices as well as proficient climbers, NICAS is an all-round climbing accreditation scheme. Participants don’t just learn the safety and skills necessary to become good climbers – throughout each level they must also develop their teamwork skills and broaden their knowledge of the sport and its history.
