Castle has a great setting and has its own gardens and exhibition centre.

Mainly English Civil War, but we are adaptable.

Usually tours, but there are re-enactment groups every year.

What is the age range of the activities?

5 onwards

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

11 + 2 for Dungeons 70+6 Towers and undercroft

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

We have forms for you to fill

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Yes if requested

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

These can be made available on request. Shop and toilet facilities

Is specific clothing required?

Decent footware, warm clothing in winter
