What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

We are based on the Norfolk Broads and offer days out or residential accommodation for disabled people. All of our boats and accommodation are fully accessible, and groups can have a fun day out or learn to sail or canoe in safety.

We provide safety equipment. Suitable footwear needs to be worn, and warm clothing

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Self-catering accommodation max 10 people
Sailing and canoes - up to 20
Motor boat cruises - max 12

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

We ask groups to do their own risk assessment, and we will be involved to ensure that all risks are mitigated.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Not at present

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

We do not provide food and drink, but we provide facilities for making drinks on our motor boats. Our bungalow is self-catering. There is a shop in the village, approx. 500 yards from the Centre

Is specific clothing required?

Warm clothing and appropriate footwear.

Do you have first aid on site?

Yes, and on all boats

Are there any restrictions on photos, copyright etc?

No
