Come face to face with history as the turbulent story of the city unfolds, freom pre Romans to Rupert Bear and beyond. A 21st century museum in a medieval building with amazing oak roofs.

Learn about history especially WW2 and the blitz.

There are interactive activities for students during your visit.

The museum welcomes all ages

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

We recommend groups of 30 students at a time and offer free places to all accompanying teachers.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

We have risk assessments we can send out to groups

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Teachers are always welcome to do a pre-visit

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

We have a shop, disabled facilities andn toilets. We also offer digiguides in several languages to enhance your visit.
