What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

Our Tudor ReCreations are living history, portraying ordinary Tudor Life - all ages, all classes, all walks of life. Meet the gentry who lived at Kentwell Hall during Tudor times (we select a specific year each year to recreate and we are faithful to the actual history of the hall); talk to the gardeners; farmhands; woodmen; weavers; children; peasants, apprentices and skilled workers. There are some opportunities for hands on experience but everywhere there is full interaction with the Tudor folk. To heighten the experience all schools (children and adults) are encouraged to dress in Tudor dress and swap modern money for Tudor money for use inside the experience.

What are the Curriculum Topics or Benefit to the students from a visit?

Principal subject is Tudor History but a visit to Kentwell will cover curriculum subjects from Art&Design; Design&Technology; English; Geography; History; Maths; Music; Science and Social/Political Studies
