JORVIK allows pupils to delve into the historic melting pot of York that was created by immigration and trade in Viking times. This unique exhibition brings together bio-scientific and artefactual evidence and explores if you could have Viking ancestors. What are the activities?

Pupils board their state-of-the-art time capsule and go on a tour of the streets and residents of Jorvik – just as it was in the year 975AD, complete with sights, sound and even smells!
