What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

We are a 95 bed outdoor education centre, run by teachers for teachers. We provide a vast array of outdoor activites, such as climbing, caving, canoeing, high ropes, mountain biking, low ropes, hill walking, raft building and much much more.

GCSE Physical Education, BTEC Sports, A Level Hill Walking

Caving, climbing, canoeing, raft building, team building, high ropes, low ropes, archery, the labyrinth, sumo suits, hill walking, navigation exercises, orienteering, abseiling, bouldering, mountain biking

5 years to adults.

1:10 is our standard ratio, we give 1 free teacher place per 10 paying guests.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

All risk assessments & other paperwork such AALA LIcence, Insurance Policy are downloadable from our website: www.highadventureoec,co.uk

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Teachers are more than welcome to come for a site visit.

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

Professional kitchen provides all our groups food, there is a group kitchen where our residents can make themselves hot drinks. Tuck shop open whenever the group want it (run by the visiting staff).

Is specific clothing required?

No

Do you have first aid on site?

Yes, and all our staff are qualified 1st Aiders
