What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

The FTM is the only museum in the UK solely dedicated to showcasing developments in contemporary fashion and textiles. The FTM hosts three temporary exhibitions and has won critical acclaim for its exhibitions.

Any students studying fashion, textiles or design technology

What are the activities?

Each exhibition is accompanied by a programme of talks craft based and illuustration workshops. We also run CAD courses in our dedicated IT suite

7 years upwards

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Minimum 10 Maximum 15 for workshops
100 maxiumum for exhibiton visit
One free teach for every 10 students

Yes - we ar eowned by an FE college so have risk assessments in place.
