Elmbridge Museum's learning service brings the Museum to wherever you are, working with schools and community groups. Discovery boxes, filled with objects and information on a range of fascinating subjects bring history to life. There is something for everyone - why not see what our learning services offer?

What are the Curriculum Topics or Benefit to the students from a visit?

The Museum has an absorbing permanent display illustrating the histories and mysteries of the area - a must for anyone seeking to understand what makes Elmbridge the Borough it is today. This is complemented by an exciting and eclectic programme of changing exhibitions. Check out the exhibition programm

What are the activities?

In addition to our monthly Family Fun activities, there are trails for children to complete, replica costumes for dressing up, feely boxes for guessing and for younger ones, a children's play area.

Sample programme of the activities:

Take your Christmas card making to a whole new level. Learn the art of paper pop-ups and design a unique card to amaze and delight someone special.

Festive Pop- ups, is part of a series of free, Family Fun days held at the Elmbridge Museum, Weybridge on the second Saturday of each month.

Sessions run from 2.00pm - 4.30pm. We ask that children under 10 years old be accompanied by an adult.
