Opening Times

Diggerland is open weekends and 7 days a week during school holidays. During term time Diggerland can open on weekdays for school groups who pre-book a visit.

What are the activities?

A theme park based on construction machinery, Diggerland has over 15 rides and drives for children to use and experience these monster machines in a safe environment

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

The minimum group size for a visit to Diggerland on a day when Diggerland is open to the general public is 10.

If you wish to visit during the week in term time the minimum group size is 25.

One free adult is permitted for every 10 children.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

Diggerland have a Risk Assessment which can be provided on request or can organise a preliminary visit for 2 members of staff who wish to carry out their own.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

As above.

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

Diggerland has an onsite refreshment facilities and outside picnic areas. Diggerland also has a Goodie Store stocking a range of toys and gifts as well as souvenirs to remember your day out.

Is specific clothing required?

Diggerland is an outdoor activity and recommends that you bring waterproof clothing and shoes. Wellies are most appropriate.
