What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

We are the Midlands largest climbing arena, with over 400 different routes for all abilities, whether you are aged 4 or 40 our instructors will help you understand the fundamentals of climbing and get you to the top of our biggest climbing walls. Alternatively you can take control of your own BMX or Skateboard and take the challenge of jumping the ramps in the Skatepark, or the ultimate challenge of dropping our 20ft vert ramp! Whatever you choose, participants will leave feeling inspired and wanting to return to conquer their activity again.

What are the Curriculum Topics or Benefit to the students from a visit?

Whatever activity you choose, working in a team is crucial. Our instructors will help student home their team skills to ensure everyone is involved in a session, a plays an important role.

What are the activities?

Creation has offered fun sessions, and structured syllabus's for several years. Students can choose to work through a tailored programme to ensure they fully understand climbing, the responsibilities involved, ropework, knots and eventually technique.

We also offer the same structured setup within the Skate Park.

Creation also offers dedicated Teambuilding events, with sole use of our groups room. These events are proving ever more popular to schools wanting to engage their students. Jacob's ladder, crates game, plank walking, rope ladder are just a few of the activities available on these sessions.

What is the age range of the activities?

4 upwards.

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Minimum of 3 people, and a maximum group size of 140.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

All risk assessments are available upon request.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Yes, again these are available upon request.

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

We have an on-site cafe and function room facilities which served hot and cold food and drink all day long. The cafe and function area can hold up to 80 people.

Is specific clothing required?

We recommend loose fitting clothing, no Jeans, no skirts. Sensible fitting shoes, no heels or sandals.

Do you have first aid on site?

Yes, there is always a minimum of one first aider on site.

Are there any restrictions on photos, copyright etc?

Yes. Pictures may be taken but a photo policy form must be filled in at reception. Pictures may only be taken of students within your group.
