A tour of the collection gives an idea of the allied soldiers' life through the equipment, vehicles and artillery used. New in 2004, a "Home Front" building shows civilian life at the time, with displays of evacuees, Air Raid Precaution
shelters, Bomb Disposal, Land Girls, National Fire Service and the Home
Guard, etc.
For pupils studying WWII Cobbaton Combat Collection offers an excellent insight into wartime Britain.
