There’s one place in the North West that guarantees the coolest school trip in town.
Situated just off junction 10 of the M60, Chill Factore gives pupils some serious fun in the snow, with a range of activities that children of all ages will enjoy.
Pupils can learn to ski or snowboard together, with friendly, professional instructors on the dedicated nursery slope, whilst those who’ve skied before can try out the year-round perfect snow conditions on the main slope. Whatever their ability, children will go home with a huge sense of achievement. Students taking a series of lessons can record their efforts and work towards an end goal, with an assessment from an instructor.
Alternatively, classes can just have some fun, in the mountains of real snow at Chill Factore. There’s heaps of fun to be had and pupils can whizz down the slope in snow tubes or enjoy a thrill-seeking experience on the ice luge. Younger children can explore the magic of the children’s snowplay area. And they can even learn to climb, tackling the 12 metre climbing wall in the Alpine village.
There are some great deals to be had on group bookings and discounted prices are applicable during term time at Chill Factore. Snow activities are suitable for children aged two and over, and packages can be tailored for groups of between 10 and 180 pupils.
All equipment is included and groups can bring their own warm clothing (clothing is also available to hire). Both packed and hot lunches are available to purchase if required.
