What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

The variety of activities we offer help to develop an understanding of farming and nature through a 'hands on' approach.

What are the activities?

On Educational visits a tractor / trailer ride around the farm, with a walk & talk through the willow maze & farm trail, followed by time to play in the adventure playground.

What is the age range of the activities?

from age 4 to 11

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Minimum: 20 children. Maximum: 50 for Educational and unlimited
for Non-Ed Play visits. All accompanying teachers are free.

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

Risk assessments for every piece of equipment are available to download on the website.

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

Teachers should come on a pre-visit and prepare their own risk assessment.

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

The shop can be open for a limited time for drinks, ice creams and souvenirs.

Is specific clothing required?

We recommend that long trousers and long sleeved tops are worn.
