Visits can be tailored to suit each group from a 2 hour visit to an all day experience. Within easy distance of M1 & M40.
Cross curriculum subjects
Trekking through the countryside with llamas. All treks preceded by half an hour of information about llamas, history, geography, culture, specific to South America. Displays and information on llama fibre, processing, spinning/weaving etc. Learning about the animal and how to handle them for a trek. Trekking across farm land offers further information on agriculture and wildlife. Our farm has a 20 acre Native Woodland with two ponds for further investigation of wildlife. Our visitor centre and log cabin home are run on sustainable and renewable energy. WE are zero carbon and totally self sufficient.
