What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

Carmichael Visitor Centre provides a range of interactive activities that allow children to learn whilst having fun in a farm enviroment. Groups can choose from a combination of packages and activities to tailor make the day to specific interests or educational requirements. The wax model musueum provides an easy to understand historical backdrop. The farm is powered by a 50Kw wind turbine allowing children to learn more about green energy and how it can be generated and used.

Groups from age 5 to 16

Most groups will select three activities to do during their stay - two in the morning and one in the afternoon

What materials to you provide or suggest groups bring to support the visit?

We provide all materials for needed for activities apart from outdoor clothing

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

There is a coffee, farm shop, toilets and hand basins on site

Wellies and outdoor clothing
