What makes this a great venue for School group Fun or Educational Visits?

Outdoor pursuits geared at either fun or team building, residential accommodation available for upto 34, good character building.

What are the activities?

Kayaking, Canoeng, Raft Building, Cross Canal Challenge, Indoor and Outdoor climbing wall, Abseiling, Archery, Problem Solving, Orienteering. High Ropes Course

What is the age range of the activities?

8 plus except High Ropes Course which is 10 plus

What materials to you provide or suggest groups bring to support the visit?

All kit for wet activities is provided, groups should wear sturdy shoes for outdoor pursuits

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes and the free Teacher Ratio?

Minimum group size 6 maximum 48
1 - 12 teacher ratio

Do you have or how do you arrange risk assessment?

Risk Assessments available via email, fax or post

Do you offer Teacher familiarisation days?

What facilities are there for school groups for food and drink, shop etc?

Room available for packed lunch

Is specific clothing required?

Clothing suitable for the time of year and weather on the day, no jeans for wet activities

Are there any restrictions on photos, copyright etc?

Photographs are not permitted unless consent is given by a parent/ guardian
