Year Group:
Year 8
Venue Region:
Scotland
Town:
Largs
Summary:
Centre was very sensory, allowing pupils to handle artefacts and get a feel for how it might have been like to live as a viking. We visited a viking long house and got to see how vikings cooked, lived and slept. The film studio was very visual and all the pupils could take something from what they saw. The locaton was just beside the sea so we also had a walk along the beach and an icecream in Nardini's cafe. The price was really reasonable, and carers got to go free. The staff were very accomodating for the needs of our pupils. The cafe provided a menu for us before hand so we could prepare symbolic representations for the pupils and also sectioned off an area for us.
Venue: Vikingar Centre Largs
This was a trip for 8 special needs students who had been finding out about the vikings.
