Exiting trip to Huntingdon Races, Kestrels (Year 6)

Summary:

In conclusion, Huntingdon Racecourse was a fun-packed day out that provied everyone with everything! I can
safely say, Huntingdon was brilliant!!

Tour Operator: Ollie

Ollie was a retired jockey who was our tour guid for the day. Ollie was a jolly man and with his
help, I improved my Numeracy skills without even knowing it! It was lots of fun filling in the activity books
Ollie provided us with. I personally loved those!

Venue: Huntingdon Racecourse

When arriving at Huntingdon Races, it gave a sense of warmth - in other words it seemed very
inviting which was exceedingly pleasant. My friends and I even had a small conversation about how the layout
was well planned furthermore how it looked exiting. That sent a feeling of enthusiasm round to the whole class.

Accommodation: The Club House

The place that everyone left there bags moreover other posessions was called the club house.
Though small, it was suprisingly cosy moreover were provided with lots of yummy refreshments when we needed
them. Thumbs up for that!

Transport: Collins coach

Collins coach was great! It was very comfy what is more warm. One of the best things was the T.V! Everyone loved watching the jungle book! It's not very often I see T.Vs on coaches! That was a real treat!

Benefit:

Since the trip to Huntingdon Racecourse, I have noticed I have slightly improved my maths. One
of the main areas I noticed I have been improving in is symmetry! I beleive that was due to the symmetrical
jockey silks everyone made. They were tricky but mine didn't turn out to bad if I may say so myself! I take
pride in my new skill!

Plus points:

The accomidation was great! I loved the layout of everthing. The first class places to watch the horses race from were ace!

Minus points:

To be honest I have no bad comments for Huntingdon. I enjoyed it!
