A Level Geography Field Trip

by short on 25th November 2009
Department:
Geography
Year Group:
Sixth form
Venue Region:
Wales
Town:
Swansea
Summary:
Excellent. We have rebooked this year, and almost certainly will for the forseeable future.
Venue: Absolute Adventure Ltd
An excellent venue for educational trips. Well located in the Brecon Beacons for coastal, hydrological, urban, rural and tourism geography. Can either be self-catering or catered for. Nice remote area that does not allow older pupils much chance to get into trouble.
Accommodation: Absolute Adventure Ltd
Basic, simple accommodation, but comfotable and warm. Well resourced for self-catering, but with some entertainments for the evening as well.
Benefit:
Outstanding experience for A level geography, as lack of nearby distractions focused the students on work. Also good for team-building as all students shared in the preparation, cooking and cleaning.
Overall:
