What makes this great accommodation for School groups?

We can accommodate groups of between 12 and 34 in one unit. You have sole use of the premises which are 4* Gold Star rated by the South West Tourist Board. We are rurally situated and yet only 10 minutes from the Eden Project and the A30. There are safe indoor and outdoor play areas and plenty of space for workshops.

Property Description

This a six ensuite bedroomed barn conversion with free WI Fi,computer and projection facilities. We also have an additional cottage for extra staff or bus driver. There is plenty of off street parking for coaches.

Disabled facilities:

The entrance to the barn is all ramped. The parking area and all around the barn are concrete paths. We have a disabled friendly bedroom compete with a wet room. All of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the first floor is accessed by a chair lift. On the first floor we have a disabled friendly toilet and the bathroom downstairs has grab rails and a bath seat if required.

Catering:

We offer full and half board or groups are welcome to cater for themselves. Large supermarkets will deliver and we are more than happy to be here to accept your shopping and put it away ready for your arrival.

Kitchen:

The wood and granite kitchen is fully equipped. There are four ovens, a commercial microwave, commercial chip pan, two large toasters, central workstation, commercial dishwasher, etc.

Dining Room:

The dinning room has five 1.83 meter tables which can be put together to make one large table seating up to 18 people; or left singly to seat 30. We then have a smaller square table to seat four people.

Bedrooms:

The barn is furnished to suit your group. We have six en-suite bedrooms. One has a double bed, one is a twin, one rooms sleeps up to six people, two rooms can sleep up to eight in each, and the last remaining room can sleep up to 9. All rooms have showers, wash basins and toilets. They also have flat screen television and DVD players.

Linen:

All bed linen and bedding is provided. We do not provide bath or beach towels. Kitchen tea towels are provided.

Bathrooms:

There are six shower rooms, one in each bedroom and there is an additional bathroom downstairs. Upstairs we have ladies and gents toilets. The ladies toilet and the bathroom is disabled friendly.

Sitting room:

There is a spacious lounge with a large end window overlooking Breney Common and Helman Tor. There are four settees, and numerous tub chairs and tables. We have plenty of table top games.

Meeting room:

In the lounge we have projection facilities run by the PC. There are blackout blinds to enable daytime viewing. We have plenty of tables at which to work and plenty of space for working in.

Games room:

There is a separate indoor games room with skittles, trampoline, table tennis, badminton, hoop game and basket ball hoop.

Projector etc:

The projector can by run by our PC or you can connect your own laptop. We have free Wi Fi throughout the barn.

TV and Music Facilities:

Each bedroom has a flat screen television and DVD player and digital TV can be viewed on the lounge PC or projected onto the screen. CDs are provided or you can bring your own to play on the PC.

Internet:

Free Wi Fi is provided throughout the barn and surrounding area.

Heating:

The barn has thermostatically controlled central heating throughout.

Outdoor Facilities:

We have a five a side football pitch and swings and slide. There is a large barbecue area with plenty of seating for everyone.

Swimming Pool:

We do not have a swimming pool.

Parking:

There is plenty of off street parking.

Activities available on and off site:

Local companies can come on site and provide activities such as lazer shooting, clay shooting, bmx bike riding, birds of prey handling, archery, bouncy castles, wall climbing, story telling, craft work, etc. Off site, we can help to organise all activites including kayaking, rock climbing, bike hire, water sports, golf, and visits.
