What makes this great accommodation for School groups?

recently renovated this charming stables accommodation offers the small group experience with the benefits of shared use of 15 acres of grounds and indoor heated pool. The Stables accommodation is within the grounds of Dunfield House, a centre that specifically encourages and welcomes children and young people from all walks of life

Property Description

Self contained accommdation offering 10 bedrooms sleeping 26 guests. The conservatory dining room/meeting room, covered cloister and cosy lounge are situated around an enclosed courtyard. The Stables have access to 15 acres of grounds and an indoor heated pool. A part or fully catered service is available

Disabled facilities:

There is level access from the car park to the the ground floor of the stables. Access to the conservatory and kitchen along with three bedrooms that are also situated on the ground floor [one ensuite] offers some wheelchair access. Part of the grounds are accessible along with the recreation hall and swimming pool. We do suggest that assisted wheelchair access will enable guests to get the most out of the property

Catering:

A part or fully catered option is available for the Stables, please discuss your requirements with the house manager

Kitchen:

a large 6 burner catering range, microwave and toaster along with fridges and freezer space makes this an ideal kitchen for self catering. All crockery and untensils are provided with our resident kitchen staff more than happy to help with any special requirements.

Dining Room:

Our conservatory which is adjacent to the kitchen is used as a dining room at meal times but offers a superb meeting room for group activities.

If a part or fully catered service is provided then meals may be taken in the main house.

Bedrooms:

Ten bedrooms, all with wash hand basins sleeping 26 people [in total] 17 beds are single or bottom bunk, 9 are top bunk

Linen:

Bedding packs are provided on arrival.

Bathrooms:

Two shower and toilet rooms at opposite ends of the Stables provide ample facilities for the accommodation. Hot water is available 24 hours a day.

Sitting room:

Our cost sitting room is ideal for relaxing or playing computer games on the TV. A video and DVD player are available, the TV cannot receive a signal

Meeting room:

Access to a larger meeting room in the main house is available by prior arrangement. This rooms seats 50 and is ideal for art, crafts, music and drama.

Games room:

Access to shared use of our recreation hall which has table tennis tables and a pool table along with being an excellent wet weather resource is available

Projector etc:

A data projector, flip charts, full size keyboard, piano's available

TV and Music Facilities:

no television reception is available but a TV for training, watching films, playing computer games is available

Internet:

access in the main office at present, plans to imcrease access are under negotiation

Heating:

The Stables is centrally heated and controlled by yourself at no extra charge

Outdoor Facilities:

Adventure playground and trampoline

Swimming Pool:

Indoor heated pool that is 1.38 metres constant depth. ideal for teaching your group to swim during your stay or for free play. Swimming pool documentation is sent to you in our information pack and 'responsible adults' in your group will manage the sessions.

Parking:

parking adjacent to the Stables is available

Activities available on and off site:

quizzes, picture quizzes and orenteering maps along with walks in the area are available.

Team building activity providers can be booked for on or off site activities.
