What makes this great accommodation for School groups?

The location; we are 2.5 miles from Aberfeldy town centre, yet our nearest neighbours are 1 mile away. Located on Glassie Farm and set within stunning scenery at 1,000ft above sea level, this is the ideal private and secure setting for all outdoors enthusiasts. Need privacy, you have it here, as well as 280 acres of our land surrounded by Forestry Commission land.

Property Description

The Bunkhouse can be used as 2 totally seperate self-contained units or as one facility. Both facilities have self-contained lounges and fully equipped kitchens. There is a shared drying room and re-cycling area. Ample parking.

Disabled facilities:

The Original Unit has a ground floor room with access for 2 wheelchairs and a disabled access shower / wc wetroom. Parking outside front door of unit.

Catering:

This can either be done on a self-catering basis or catered by contacting one of the four companies that do our catering for groups, details on own website.

Kitchen:

Both units have fully equipped kitchens; 2 four ring electric cookers with ovens. Enough plates / bowls / knives and forks etc for all to eat in one sitting. Plenty of large cooking saucepans and pots and two sinks and all the usual kettles / fridges / microwaves etc.

Dining Room:

Original Unit; Large table to seat 12.

Newer Unit; Large table to seat 8.

We have 6 extra 6ft folding catering tables to move in if required for more to be seated, as well as chairs or bench seats.

Bedrooms:

The Original Unit; this sleeps 25 in four bunkrooms of 6;8;4;7. The six being en-suite and the seven being single beds.

The Newer Unit, this sleeps 14 in 3 bunkrooms of 4;4;6.

The whole facility can therefore sleep upto 39, with the option of tents if required.

Linen:

Included in price; need to bring own towels.

Bathrooms:

Original Unit; The six person bunkroom (room 1) being en-suite and there are a further 3 wc / shower rooms in this unit.

The Newer Unit; this has 2 wetroom style showers and 2 seperate wc`s.

Sitting room:

Both units have 3 person sofas with extra chairs dotted around.

TV and Music Facilities:

32" tv`s in both units with freesat facility, a dvd player and a cd / radio mini hifi system.

Internet:

Available by request; have to give you the router security access number.

Heating:

Original Unit; All rooms are heated by electric thermostat controlled heaters.

Newer Unit; All rooms are heated by oil thermostat controlled heaters.

Outdoor Facilities:

Our site; we have 280 acres which can be used for your activities, this includes woodland and open fields and a couple of burns also run through the property.

Ample parking for all
