The Centre offers a fantastic location for residential school trips. We aim to provide a programme which will excite, challenge and encourage young people to appreciate and enjoy the environment around them as well as value each other.
The site is set in 15 acres of woodland, pasture and lawn, overlooking the River Parrett. We have 2 buildings. The Main House is an C18th Manor House which has been tastefully restored over the years. The Annexe is a modern single storey building with twin bed en-suite bedrooms. Both buildings are fully self contained with their own kitchen, conference and dining rooms.
We offer all options of catering full, self or part catering, the choice is yours. Your preferred option can be discussed either during a pre stay visit or by phone
The Main House and Annexe kitchens are fully fitted and equiped to cater for the following: Main House 96, Annexe 30.
The Main House dining room has versatile seating arrangements to suit the needs of your group, also fitted with a PA system. The Annexe dining room seats 30 people at round tables.
The Main House sleeps 68 in 15 bedrooms, ranging from 2 bed to 9 beds in each room (no bunks). All rooms have central heating and safety fittings on all the windows, there are also a number of cupboards for keeping personal belongings. The Annexe has 12 twin bed en-suite rooms all with underfloor heating, safety fittings on all windows and storage space for personal belongings. The first 4 rooms accommodate a third bed making the sleeping total 28. However it is possible to have 2 extra 'beds' in any of the remaining rooms increasing the total sleeping capacity to 30.
Annex: sleeps 28 in 12 twin bed-ensuite rooms. Rooms 1-4 have 3 beds
The option available to you is: to bring your own sleeping bags or for an additional charge of £2 per person to use Hill House bedding. Personal hand and bath towels are not provided.
The Main House has modern male and female bathrooms with showers.
The Annexe has en-suite bathrooms with showers.
The Main House has a relaxing lounge with a C19th Wedgwood ceiling, ornate fireplace, armchairs, Tv and video. Seating for about 30-40
The Annexe has seating for about 30 in comfortable chairs.
The Main House has a large Conference room, full PA system, ceiling mounted LCD Projector, electric keyboard and seating for about 100 people.
The Annexe meeting room is combined with the sitting room, ceiling mounted LCD Projector, PA system and electonic keyboard. Seating for about 30 - 35 people.
This is a common area with Pool, Table Tennis, Air Hockey and Table Football. There is also an indoor Basketball court on site which can also be used for uni hoc and badminton.
All Conference rooms have Ceiling Mounted SVGA Projectors 3000 Ansi Lumens
TV/DVD/Video and CD/Midi disc is connected through the PA system and Projectors to the large Screen in the Main House and Annexe Conference rooms. Both buildings have their own electronic keyboards.

Central heating in the Main House and Annex. Warm in all weathers.
There is: Playground with swings, climbing frames, hands and knees maze, various woodland games, sports field, netball, football, 9 hole putting course, Archery and Team Building games.
We have an Outdoor unheated approx 5m x 15m pool and changing rooms, open May-September weather permitting.
Parking on site for over 50 cars
We offer both on and off site Activities. On site include: Sensory Riverside Walk, Team Building Challenges, Archery, Scavenger Hunt, Mini Beast Safari, Survial Skills, Creative Handwriting, Quizzes, Bird Survey, Swimming, Parachute games, Volleyball, Rounders, Football, Netball. Evening Activities: Talent / Karaoke Show, Film night, Camp Fire, Wide Games and Bat Walk. Off site with Black Rock Outdoors Ltd: High and Low Ropes, Kayaking, Caving and Climbing, Raft Building and Bridge Building.
